Chlorine - SHOCK: is designed for initial treatment of swimming pool and hot tub water immediately after filling in the beginning of the season . The product due to its composition causes " shock " the pool water disinfection . Chlorine Shock Package includes : 1 kg granules. Function granular form of chlorine sanitiser for pools and spas. Also used as a shock treatment on small above ground pools.
 
Pool Dosage:100 grams increases the chlorine level by 1ppm in a 10,000 gallon pool.
 
Pool Shock Dosage: Add 750 grams per 10,000 gallons of pool water. This might need to be doubled or even trebled depending on how much algae is present.
 
Hot Tub Dosage: 5 grams (a teaspoon) increases the chlorine level by 2.5ppm in a 1,000 litre spa. Dosing Method Dissolve granules in warm water in a plastic bucket and distribute around the pool.
